F&B Manager

Job description:

Manage all F&B day-to-day operations within budgeted guidelines and to the highest standards
Preserve excellent levels of internal and external customer service. Engage with every customer to at least introduce himself/ herself and check on level of satisfaction.
Identify customers needs and respond proactively to all of their concerns to avoid escalation of discomfort from clients.
Plan and manager social and corporate events
Design exclusive menus keeping in mind our "direct from the farm concept" purchase goods and continuously make necessary improvements to keep the cost within budget while maximizing the use original local products.
Lead F&B team by attracting, recruiting, training, coaching and appraising talented personnel.
Establish targets, KPI’s, schedules, policies and procedures for the whole department in order to reach the budgeted targets.
Provide a two way communication and nurture an ownership environment with emphasis in motivation and teamwork within the team.
Comply with all health and safety regulations
Report on management regarding sales results and productivity.

Requirements:
Degree in Food service and /or Hotel management, BA, or related field.
Proven successful food & beverage management experience.
Experience in social and corporate events planning.
Computer literate with working knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, POS)
Ability to spot and resolve problems swiftly and efficiently
Mastery in delegating tasks and controlling achievements under stressful conditions.
Great Communication and leadership skills
Up to date with food and beverages trends, best practices.
Ability to manage and motivate personnel to meet financial targets.
Very guest oriented and service minded.
Self starer, ability to self-motivate with a can-do attitude.
Available to work weekends and nights
have a vehicle.
Bilingual English / Spanish.
National or legal residents with permanent residency.

We strongly appreciate:
Work experience abroad in a customer service oriented positions.
Experience with ISO, HACCP, Rain Forest Alliance or other certification desired.
Other European languages besides English and Spanish.
