Ana Cecilia Lizano
Ana Lizano began her studies in Arpa under the tutelage of Professor Ruth Garita.
She has participated in several groups: Children's Symphony Orchestra, Junior Symphony Orchestra, the Advanced Youth Symphonic Band, Youth Symphony Orchestra, Chamber Orchestra UCR Symphony Orchestra Heredia, Philharmonic Orchestra CR, Ensemble Coffee Chorale, performing in different theaters and auditorium of the country. She has given recitals with the Chair of the Institute Arpa, plus chamber music recitals.
In 2008 she attended to the Young Artist's Harp Seminar (Yahs) in Rabun Gap, Georgia, where she received master classes by harpists Bridget Kibbey, Kimberly Rowe, Susan Bennet, Marissa Knaub and Kimberly Houser.
In 2010 she participated in the Festival of Music of Santa Catarina (FEMUSC), in Brazil, where she received master classes with Rita Constanzi harpists and Silke Aichhorn, besides participating in the Advanced Band and Orchestra same festival.
For this show she was accompanied by Juan Carlos Martinez on violin and Natalia Trigueros in the flute.
